Thomas Jahn is a senior researcher at ISOE and its executive and co-founder. He studied sociology, political science, German studies and history at the University of Freiburg and Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, where he received his doctorate in 1989 with a thesis on “Crisis as a Mode of Societal Experience: Outline of a Social-Ecological Conception of Society. He has done research and published on social-ecological research, methods of transdisciplinary research and methods of knowledge integration.
