Matthias Bergmann has a doctorate in environmental engineering, specializing in acoustics. He has been working since 1998 at the Institute for Advanced Study, Berlin, where he is responsible for quality management and evaluation. He has worked at ISOE since 2000, where he has concentrated on studying quality criteria, the evaluation of transdisciplinary research and methods for dealing with integration issues within transdisciplinary research.
