Jenny Eisold is Diploma-Geoecologist and works as a research assistant at the ISOE since 2009. Her doctoral thesis concerns sustainable land use and local knowledge in semi-arid ecosystems and is based at the University of Cologne. Meanwhile she worked for the Department of ecological modelling at the Helmholtz centre for ecological research (UFZ), Leipzig, on “sustainability of (post-)nomadic resource utilization under global change”. Jenny studied Geoecology at the University Bayreuth.
