Florian Keil has worked as a research assistant at ISOE since
2003, with a focus on the development of methods for analyzing
and modeling social-ecological systems. He studied physics,
mathematics and philosophy at the University of Hamburg. From
1998 to 2002 he did research for the German Electron Synchrotron
(Deutschen Elektronen-Synchrotron ‑ DESY) in Hamburg and
completed his doctoral studies at the University of Heidelberg
in the field of experimental particle physics with a thesis on
mutual interactions and modeling.
